Jay Albrecht, CPA


Serving contractors since 1979

Jay Albrecht graduated from the University of Notre Dame with Highest Honors in Accounting and Mathematics in 1979. He is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. As the principal architect of Visual ContrAcct® Job Cost Accounting software, he understands that a tool is only as good as the organization behind it.

Recognizing labor saving opportunities in mobile technology, in 2000 Jay and his team began developing dispatch and field service software - Mobile Resource Manager® with Field App for Apple iPhones and iPads and Android phones and tablets.

Mike graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in electronics, engineering and technology. Mike worked for a computer manufacturer before joining Job Cost, Inc. and has experience on a wide variety of equipment. He has implemented a practice of rigorous testing of all equipment before it goes out to a client.

For any systems under maintenance contract (even if they were not originally sold by Job Cost Inc.), Mike guarantees a 4 hour response time. This includes a loaner if the system cannot be repaired in the field.

Karen graduated from Joliet Junior College with a degree in computer science. Karen's experience in our Customer Support Department has given her valuable insight into how contractors use the software. She understands that clients need personalized training and dependable customer support to make the most out of their software investment.
